Can you play Petit Planet with friends?
Yes. Petit Planet lets you visit friends' planets (you control who can enter and what they may take), meet other players in the Galactic Bazaar social hub for music, rhythm and card games, and add “Starry Companions” for campfires and fireworks. Official cross-play and cross-save details have not been published yet.

Visit friends' planets
Drop by other players' planets. You can set your planet to private, and visitors can't take resources unless you allow it.
Galactic Bazaar
A shared social hub with instruments, a rhythm/dance game, Talk Valuation, a lucky roulette and card games. Earn Bazaar Jelly for emotes and cosmetics.
Starry Companions
Add friends as Starry Companions to share campfires and fireworks.
Letters
Send notes with Echoes of Star Notes; neighbors visit planets too.
Party pre-registration
The “Besties, Made to Match!” web event rewards pre-registering as a party of three.

PC, iOS and Android all launch on December 4 with one HoYoverse account, and community wikis describe the game as cross-platform. HoYoverse hasn't published an official cross-play or cross-save FAQ yet, so we mark it unconfirmed until it does.
Can strangers mess up my planet?＋
You control access: planets can be set to private, and visitors can't take resources unless you give permission.
How many players can visit at once?＋
Not announced yet. We'll add the number when HoYoverse publishes it or we can test it at launch.
Can I play Petit Planet solo?＋
Yes. Multiplayer is optional; your planet, farming and neighbors all work on your own.
